Left Columbus before 5:30 this morning to drive to Tallmadge. Made it to work at 7:53 am. Not sure what was crazier the patch and fill crew with traffic down to 1 lane at 6:30 and watching two 18 wheelers trying to switch to the right lane like it was a chicane at Laguna Seca. That at least was safer than being situated between 3 trucks in a two lane chute of Jersey barriers for 5 miles doing 80-85 mph with marginal extra room.

Yep, Summit Racing is a couple of miles away. I work very close to where the Trickflow shop is and not far from SSVO which is Summits specialty shop where they do work for those who have the $$$.

I also should have told you I know well over a dozen employees there and when they need some GM that they can’t get from work they come to me. Have another half dozen friends who are x-employees and get my brain picked for GM OE info regularly by guys at the retail store and SSVO. Its about twice a year that I have the 1960-80s old GM paper parts books dusted off trying to find some obscure part number for some project. The part will be discontinued usually but at least they then have a # to go by in searching the web.

Welcome to my home! Love Ohio, but construction and other stuff is terrible right now. Cincinnati bridge north and south on I-75 are messed up and makes progress very slow.

ODOT crews and supervisors must all be on drugs. They had rte 224/I-76 torn up for a few years to make improvements and then I think it was less than a year and now they have torn it up again for more work. All I can think of is all the materials they put down for a short time and then they trashed all that for the next phase. Why couldn’t they get their shit straight and do it all at once. Wait, that might take somebody having a brain and it might save taxpayers some money! What was I thinking? They can’t do anything logically and this way all those workers get paid for twice the work even though they still haven’t completed jack shit.

#330 represent! Just found your profile after your Glen Campbell post. Born and raised in Summit County. Summit is a place I avoid with a passion because I black out when I walk in and walk out naked, penniless, confused, but surrounded by parts...some for cars I don’t even own*.
*yet.

lol, not a native but been here 30+. Live in Stow area now. Used to be active with 330 Tuning and Eurovagens clubs. I’d bet if you are a VW person you might know Lenny or some other people I hung out with. Used to go to Superfly Sundays back when it was at the Spaghetti Warehouse.

Watch my posts for Akron and Cleveland content. I try and post something local about 6-8 times a year.
